MCP24 — a Bitrix24 MCP server under your control
The app connects AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor and others) to a Bitrix24 portal over the open MCP protocol and puts a control layer between the assistant and the data: an access profile, a data scope, personal data masking, confirmation of dangerous actions and a journal right inside the portal.
What problem it solves
Connecting an assistant to Bitrix24 is easy. What is hard is answering two questions from management and the security team: what exactly the assistant can see and what it has already done. A regular connector gives the AI the rights of the employee whose token it uses and leaves no trace. MCP24 answers both questions: access is granted through a restricted profile, and every action remains a record in the portal itself — visible a year later, without contacting us.
What it does
- Access profiles. "Read only" — the assistant looks and changes nothing; "Manager" — makes changes (currently comments on CRM records) but does not delete; "Full access" — deletion is possible, but only with human confirmation. The strictest profile is on by default.
- Scope. You can restrict the assistant to specific deal pipelines: it does not go beyond the scope even when asked directly.
- Personal data masking. By default the assistant sees contact phones, emails, addresses and bank and tax identifiers (VAT ID, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, account numbers) as hidden. They can be revealed by a separate action with a stated reason, and the journal records who revealed what and why.
- Confirmation of dangerous actions. Deleting records never happens silently: a request is sent to a person in the portal chat, and without their consent nothing happens.
- Journal inside the portal. A dedicated "AI Actions (MCP24)" smart process: which assistant, which tool, which object and for what reason. Plus the "AI Actions" tab on contact and company cards and the "AI Actions" button on the deal card — the client's history is visible where people work with the client.
- Caps and a kill switch. Limits on rows per request and changes per hour; one button on the app page instantly disables all connections.
How to connect
- Install the app from the Bitrix24 Market.
- Open MCP24 in the portal's left menu and set the access profile, scope and masking.
- Create a connection — the app gives you the MCP server address and a pairing code.
- Enter this address in your AI client and confirm the connection with the code from the portal.
A connection can be revoked at any time on the app page, without reinstalling.
What the app does not do
It does not train models on your data and does not pass it to third parties — data flows directly between your portal and the AI provider you have chosen. It does not override Bitrix24 permissions: if an employee has no access to a deal, an assistant connected on their behalf will not get it either. It does not work without an active Bitrix24 Market subscription.
Why MCP24
- A control layer, not a raw API pipe. There is no “call any API method” tool that could bypass the rules: the assistant gets only the actions you allow.
- Read only by default. The assistant looks and changes nothing. In Pro, deletion happens only after a person confirms it on the MCP24 page.
- Personal data masked by default. Phones, e-mails, addresses, VAT ID and IBAN reach the AI as “[hidden]”, including IBANs typed into free text. A contact is revealed only with a stated reason, and every reveal is logged.
- Scope and caps. Only the pipelines you choose, a cap on records per response and changes per hour, one switch to stop all assistants, one-click revocation of any connection.
- The journal stays with you. AI actions are written to a smart process in your own CRM and remain there after uninstalling.
- Your AI, your choice. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, Cursor and other MCP clients; connect in a minute with a one-time code. CRM data is not stored on our servers, which are in the EU.
